History of SCENAR Technology.
The first SCENAR device was created by physicist Alexander Karasev in 1976. At the time he was working together with the OKB RITM team. They wanted to create a device which could find and treat zones of asymmetry - the concept used in the ancient theory of zonal massage.
There were a lot of TENS devices on the world market by that time. These medical devices produced invariable forms of impulses and amplitudes. But the human body adapted to these influences very quickly and the resulting pain-blocking effects of the devices were very unstable.
The OKB RITM team set a task to create a device with variable impulses which adopted to the fluctuations of electrical resistance (impedance) of the skin. The first models of "ENS 01" were sent to some doctors in different parts of Russia. One of these first doctors was Alexander Revenko. He treated his patients with ENS 01, ENS 02, and 03 for years and by the 1985 he concluded that the main effect of the devices was anti-stress effect. That's why the method was called CENAR (Controlled Energetic Neuro Adaptive Regulation).
Dr. Revenko and OKB RITM team presented CENAR therapy to the Moscow Central Institute Of Traumatology and Orthopedy for clinical trials. Researchers found it very effective and modified it’s name to SCENAR (Self Controlled Energetic Neuro Adaptive Regulation).
The important stage in the SCENAR development was cooperation between the OKB RITM team and the secretive Russian Space Program. The device could help long-term cosmonauts in many conditions. Instead of pills, which work only on the principal of “1 condition - 1 pill“ resulting in bringing tuns of pills into the spaceship for hundreds of possible conditions.
In 1986 SCENAR was registered in the Ministry of Health of Russia (at that time it was USSR) and at the same time they started to mass produce the SCENAR devices. Then there were tens of thousands of clinical trials in many other Russian clinics. In 1989 the device was registered with the Trade Mark "SCENAR".
In 1990 LET Medical Ltd was founded as an associate of OKB RITM. These two corporations together produced SCENAR-035-1 and 035-3. Today LET Medical Ltd is an independent producer of the devices.
In 1992 the first training seminars started. The trainers were Dr. Alexander Revenko, Dr. Yuri Gorfinkel, Dr. Galina Subbotina, Dr. Iosif Semikatov and many others.
